sirius cybernetics

Today I brought leftover brownies to work with me, the better to foist upon my co-workeres calories that my own waistline doesn't need. Since they have a cream-based topping, I thought it prudent to store them in the communal fridge, rather than leaving them out on the counter all day. However, since that's not the most obvious place to put things that you want other people to eat, I am putting a little sign on top of the container that says: "Share and Enjoy"

Think anyone will get it?

What do you mean, "Think anyone will get it?" Is there something to "get?" Do you want them to understand that the brownies are for them to consume, or is there a couple at the courthouse named Sharon and Joy?

Don't know what your work-kitchen set-up is, but if I were doing the same, I'd also put a note on one of the tables in the kitchen.

Chavie, suffice it to say that you don't get it.

Interestingly, my company has an item on the lunch menu that is almost, but not entirely, unlike soup.

Aaron: No, I learned that I did not get the reference. And I've been threatened with a cease of communication from the webmaster. :)

I don't care that I am responding to this way too late. I only just found your blog.

Don't worry. Anyone at your work who took a brownie and didn't appreciate the sirius cybernetics connection will be first against the wall when the revolution comes...

I love your writing!
