no, really
What day of the week is it? Am I supposed to go to work tomorrow? Fast? Do laundry? Not do laundry? Cook for forty people? Build a seven-story condo complex? Any insight would be highly valued!
uhm. er, e and i have been triple checking trying to figure this one out. we were both convinced it was a day it wasn't.
i'm "looking forward" to november. i got called for jury duty. it's looking pleasant, honest!
don't get me wrong, i'm happy for yontif and all the wonders associated with it, but this breakneck pace is really difficult.
[as for laundry.. i'm going to ask it if it will wash, dry, iron (if necessary), fold, and put away itself. it's a scary pile..]
BS"D
Tomorrow is the one "normal" day you're going to have until Mar Cheshvan. So enjoy it ;+>
I'm not quite sure, myself. Four hours of sleep and a cold will do that.
Umm, peninah, I hate to tell you this, but if you think *you* have a scary pile, don't even come look at mine. Just wait until there are more people in your family and you're still the only one who gets to sort, wash, dry, sort again, fold it, etc...
And Shanna, I hear you completely. I keep asking the kids to help get ready for Shabbos today (Monday, erev something-or-other) and they seem to have a better hold on what day it is, because they keep correcting me. And RM has been singing all day about how her birthday is tonight, so she's definitely got it straight.
That's what I can't figure out.. it's just *TWO* of us... if you add up the laundry we each had prior to marriage and compare to our current piles, it makes no sense.. (we did 4 loads tonight *sigh* they are done, put away (except for socks whose mates I can't find))
I am quite lucky, e does help me when he's available.. and he *must* do all of his own ironing..
