Reminds me of the "Family Circus" from about 15 yrs ago, in which Billy (or maybe it was one of the other kids) explained "The Far Side" to Grandma.

Almost every American comic strip has included something about the Blondie & Dagwood anniversary this week. Most are not so "meta," though.
