Julian has taken to buying me hat boxes. Not just any old hat boxes, either. He makes an effort to get lots of different designs and is careful to avoid anything with roses. He's particularly excited about the one he bought with the velvet trim around the cover. I've had to talk him down from getting me anything fully upholstered.
I wonder if I can channel this excitement into enthusiasm for further hat purchases.
(In other news, we returned late last night from the celebrations of my sister's Bat Mitzvah weekend. Detail later, if I remember.)
